Monthly Hydrological Bulletin, March 2023

The hydrological situation during the month of March 2023 was characterized by the continued decline in flows in all compartments of the Niger Basin. A trend of minimum low flow situation continues at the Upper Niger sub-basin.

The reservoirs water from the Sélingué in Mali and Kainji in Nigeria are gradually been released to support the downstream flows.
