1.0 INTRODUCTION

Flow has continued to increase in all part of the Niger Basin as a result of the rainy season. Analysis of the hydrological situation of flows have been sub-divided into 4
watersheds represented by the gauging stations as follows: The Upper Niger in Koulikoro (Mali), The Middle Niger in Niamey (Niger), The Lower Niger at Lokoja (Nigeria) as illustrated in figure 1.
