March 2024 Monthly Bulletin

The hydrological situation in March 2024 was characterized by the continued decline in flows in the Inner Delta and the Middle Niger. A low flow situation is observed in the other compartments of the Niger basin.

The Sélingué water reservoir in Mali and Kainji water reservoir in Nigeria continue to release water to support the low flow situation in the basin.
