April 2024 Monthly Bulletin

The hydrological situation in April 2024 was characterized by low flow at Inner Delta and Middle Niger sub-basins while the Upper Niger and Lower Niger sub-basins experienced increasing flow respectively.

The Sélingué water reservoir in Mali and Kainji water reservoir in Nigeria continue to release water to support the low flow situation in the basin.
