Monthly Bulletin: August 2024

The hydrological situation during August 2024 was characterized by a continued rise in flows in all compartments of the Niger basin and the recording of some flooding situations in the middle and lower Niger sub-basins. This situation is linked to the rainfall recorded during the month over the whole area of the River Niger basin.

The filling of the Sélingué water reservoirs in Mali is continuing gradually.
