October 2022 Monthly Bulletine

The hydrological situation in October 2022 was characterized by continuing decreasing flow at the Upper Niger and Lower Niger sub-basins due to the onset of low flow situation. While, there were increasing flow at the Inner Delta and the Middle Niger sub-basins due to the arrival of the Guinean flood.

The normal retention reservoir water levels at Selingué in Mali and Kainji Dam in Nigeria were reached on October 29^th and 13^th, 2022 respectively.
