Monthly Hydrological Bulletin: July 2020

The month of July was characterized by the continued rise in flows over the entire Niger basin due to rainfall recorded in July in all compartments of the river. The average monthly flows recorded show very high hydraulicities in the sub-basins of Middle Niger and Lower Niger.

At the level of the structuring dams of Sélingué in Mali and Kainji in Nigeria, the filling of reservoirs has started because of the contribution from rainfall seasons
