Monthly hydrological Buletin. October 2017

The hydrological situation in the Niger basin during the month of October 2017 was characterized by the beginning low flow in the Upper Niger Basin and Lower Niger Basin and a rise of flow in the Inner Delta and Middle Niger Basin. This increase in flow is due to the incoming flow from the Upper Basin which marks the beginning of second flood flow in these parts of the Basin known as “Guinean flood or black flood”.
