 Bénin

Located in coastal wetland of West Africa, Benin, covers an area of 114. 763 sq. km with a population of 6,752,569 inhabitants in 2002 (58 inhabitants per square kilometer). It is open on the Gulf of Guinea by façade close to 125km region is located between the meridians 0 ° 40’et 3 ° 50 ’East and stretches 750 km from south to north parallel between 6 ° 10’ and 12 ° 30 ’North. It is bordered to the west by Togo, on the north by Burkina Faso and Niger, and east by Nigeria. The highest point (641m) lies in the massive Atacora in the northwest of the country. His political capital is Porto-Novo (180,000 inhabitants).. The main city Cotonou and it is also the economic capital.

The Republic of Benin is one of the least developed countries still called low-income countries. Its economy is based on three pillars that are fragile: food production, cotton production and regional trade.

 Burkina Faso

Burkina Faso is a Sahelian country and continental at the heart of West Africa. Located inside the loop of Niger between 10 degrees and 15 degrees north latitude and 2 degrees east longitude and 5 ° 30 ’west longitude, the country covers an area of 274,000 Km2. It shares borders with six countries in the subregion that are (i) Mali to the north and northwest, (ii) Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana and Togo in the South, (iii) in Benin Southeast, and (iv) the Niger to the east and northeast.
